More than two decades in healthcare — from clinical practice through business development and executive leadership — and the founding, building and eventual sale of her own healthcare company.
Today she is an author, investor, philanthropist, speaker and lifelong learner, exploring new work across business, healthcare, education and community impact. She is studying real estate. She convenes forums on the things families postpone. She is a wife and a mother of two boys.
Her ventures are expressions of the brand, not the whole of it. There is more still to come.

Starworks Foundation
A Houston nonprofit built around education, empowerment, opportunity and community impact, supporting vulnerable individuals and families. Its programs address aging, caregiving, scholarships, health and emerging community needs — and the foundation is designed to evolve as those needs change.
The Doll Foundation
Satavia serves as a chair of The Doll Foundation, bringing an evening with designer Christian Siriano to Houston this November. She is also helping lead the MUSE Fashion Show for the Ivy Educational and Charitable Foundation in April 2027.
